1.        TOTAL Oil Australia awarded contract with BHP

At the end of last year, on the 18^th December 2019, Total Oil Australia (TOA) was awarded a five-year contract with BHP, the number one global mining company, to supply lubricants and greases to its Queensland  operations.

Under this contract, TOA will deliver 80 million litres of lubricants/grease across 9 mine sites over the contract period. As part of this win, TOA will be expanding both its bulk lubricant storage facilities in Brisbane and its mining personnel.

The win was a result of TOA’s strong and innovative mining offer, outstanding work by TOA’s mining team under the leadership of TOA’s National Mining Manager, Andrew Druwitt, and strong technical and operational support from Total’s regional and global teams.

The win was also confirmation of BHP’s confidence in TOA’s ability to ensure a smooth transition.
